Residing, working and living in accordance with WELL principles
A healthy, liveable city can only exist if its built environment provides for the basic necessities of life. But that is not all it needs to do. Buildings also play an important part in the city when it comes to safety, the stimulation of social cohesion, healthy lifestyles and providing places where people can develop and grow. A healthy built environment is important for a healthy economy, as recognised by the Dutch central government.
BAM is keen to make a contribution to the health of buildings and areas. In doing so, it applies its WELL principles, which encourage the construction of buildings and areas that pay particular attention to air, water, food, light, exercise, comfort and mindfulness.
