Executive Committee

The Executive Committee consists of the Executive Board members, as well as of:

  • S.B. (Sabine) van Hooijdonk-Verboom, Chief HR Officer (CHRO); 
  • C. (Carla) Rodenburg-Verschuur, Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Netherlands division;
  • J.D. (Jonathan) Wilkinson, Chief Operating Officer for the United Kingdom and Ireland division.
Sabine van Hooijdonk

Sabine van Hooijdonk-Verboom (1981)

Sabine van Hooijdonk-Verboom was appointed Chief HR officer, effective 1 July 2023. She joined BAM in early 2022 as Executive Director Group HR. Before that, she gained broad HR experience at various international organisations. She has a background in business economics with a specialism in human resources.

Carla Rodenburg-Verschuur

Carla Rodenburg-Verschuur (1972)

Carla Rodenburg was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the Netherlands division, effective 1 October 2024. She originally joined BAM in October 2020 as Executive Director of BAM Infra Netherlands and is a member of the Executive Committee since October 2024. Before joining BAM, Carla was the Vice President of Stork Europe and was a member of Stork’s executive leadership team. Her earlier career includes several senior roles at Shell, in general management and business development. She began her career as a strategic consultant. Carla holds a degree in Electrical Engineering and earned her MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management and Duke University in the United States.

John Wilkinson

John Wilkinson (1968)

John Wilkinson was appointed Chief Operating Officer (COO) for the United Kingdom and Ireland division, effective 1 January 2022. Since 5 October 2020, John Wilkinson is a member of the Executive Committee (as COO for the former business line Civil engineering). He was formerly President of Infrastructure and member of the Executive Committee of SNC-Lavalin, an international, fully integrated professional services and project management company, based in Montreal, Canada. He previously held senior positions with leading British civil engineering companies Laing O’Rourke, Kier Group and May Gurney, respectively as managing director UK Infrastructure, executive director Services and managing director.
