WTC Utrecht

A classic example of Healthy Urban Working can be found in the creation of the new WTC building in Utrecht. The WTC comprises flexible work stations, flexible office spaces, catering establishments and shops.

A unique aspect of this project is that the office building was the first one in the Netherlands to be constructed in accordance with the highest standards for user health and well-being. The WELL building certificate is an innovative standard that not only takes a building’s level of user comfort into account but also the quality of its light, air and water, along with the effect the building has on physical activity, healthy food and mental health.
