Building a sustainable tomorrow where everyone belongs at AmplifyHER 2025

For the second year running, BAM will be a main sponsor of AmplifyHER, held this year on Tuesday, 4 November, at the Muziekgebouw in Amsterdam. AmplifyHER is a high-energy, high-impact conference for inclusive leadership. Our sponsorship reflects BAM’s strategy 'Building a sustainable tomorrow', where we believe true progress goes beyond physical structures, and our people are what set us apart to achieve our goals.

’Inclusion is how we build stronger teams and better outcomes. AmplifyHER turns intent into action and invites everyone to lead with purpose. I’m proud that BAM is one of the main sponsors for a second year and an industry partner accelerating real progress in gender equality.’

Representatives from BAM will be visible and vocal on the day. Alex Richards, Director for IT and Digital at BAM, will join a panel discussion on “Mavericks” to share practical ways male leaders can build teams where all perspectives are heard and valued. Jurrienne Schijff, Director Group Sustainability Reporting, will host a workshop with 250 attendees to share her career path and vision for leadership. Thirty BAM colleagues will also attend the event.

AmplifyHER 2025

Recognising the role of men

In the AmplifyHER movement, a Maverick is a man who recognises that gender equality benefits everyone — and uses his voice, network, and influence to challenge inequities, remove barriers, and advocate for talented women. When men step up with intention and accountability, change accelerates. In fact, studies show companies can achieve up to 96% progress on gender equality when men take an active role. To turn that insight into action, 2025 will be the first year that AmplifyHER will encourage 30 percent male attendance.

About inclusion at BAM

Our partnership with AmplifyHER mirrors how we lead and inspire leaders at BAM. When it comes to inclusion, we are prioritising psychological safety, creating a genuine “Speak Up” culture, and equipping people managers to listen, learn and act. Across BAM in the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland, our employee networks also regularly host practical workshops that tackle broader diversity and inclusion topics. Colleagues leave these sessions with tools they can use immediately, from running inclusive meetings to sponsoring emerging talent from all walks of life.

We make these commitments because they strengthen performance and purpose. Inclusive teams listen to diverse perspectives, make better decisions, innovate more confidently, and build solutions that reflect the communities we serve. That is how we build a sustainable tomorrow.
