Area developers AM and Synchroon celebrated the start of construction of Grow in Merwede Utrecht (Block 8). Alderman Eelco Eerenberg officially launched this significant project in Utrecht’s new city district, Merwede. Completion of the entire city block is expected in 2029.
Grow is a joint development by Synchroon and AM. The plan comprises a city block of nearly 75,000 m² GFA with a diverse mix of functions. It will become a vibrant place where people can live, work, exercise and connect. Designed by KCAP, Monk Architecten, Studio Nauta and Flux Landscape Architecture, the project emphasises health, movement and social interaction, with a strong focus on biodiversity and greenery. Grow contributes to sustainable urban renewal in Utrecht.
