Ascon is NISO Construction Award Winner for 2001
The NISO overall Construction Safety Award for 2001 has been presented to Ascon Ltd. Ascon’s sister company, Rohcon Ltd, won the same award last year.
Rohcon was highly commended in this years awards. The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) Occupational Safety Awards are held annually to promote awareness of health and safety in the workplace.
Ascon has a number of major civil engineering projects in progress. They include the new M1 Motorway at Lissenhall, the Glen of the Downs Dual Carriageway, the Dublin Bay Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Youghal By-Pass and the recently awarded South Eastern Motorway.
Rohcon is currently working on building projects throughout the country including the National Aquatic Centre for Ireland, Millennium Park Offices in Naas, the Portlaoise General Hospital and the Government Buildings at The Glen, Waterford.
