AM launches podcast ‘tomorrow starts today’

What will our living environment look like in the future, and what can we already do today to make tomorrow better? That’s the central question in the new podcast series Tomorrow Starts Today by urban developer AM. Journalist and media producer Marijn Frank (known from shows such as Keuringsdienst van Waarde, a Dutch consumer television programme) engages in conversations with inspiring experts about a wide range of social challenges related to urban development. The first episode, The City as a garden – Green is the new gold, centres on the question of why nature in the city is essential. Together with Amsterdam city ecologist Roy Veldhuizen and Malika van de Weerd, sustainability programme manager at AM, Marijn explores the impact of urban greening on health, biodiversity and social connection. The episode shows that even small initiatives, such as a façade garden, can make a big difference.
