BAM and Feyenoord end their cooperation for new Feyenoord stadium

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 10 March 2015 - BAM Bouw en Vastgoed has come to the conclusion that there is no possibility to carry out the plans that Feyenoord Founders Consortium (BAM, AM and Siemens) have developed (based on the requirements as specified by Feyenoord) for a new stadium (new Kuip) within the maximum construction budget set by Feyenoord of €206 million. BAM has budgeted construction activities at €215 million (excluding inflation).

This means that the cooperation between Feyenoord and BAM has ended. BAM would like to express its appreciation for the good cooperation with Feyenoord and especially for the constructive contributions from the municipality of Rotterdam and the supporters of Feyenoord. BAM will remain prepared to offer Feyenoord its experience gained with the (re)construction of stadiums around the world in a new route to carry out the (re)construction plans of Feyenoord.
