BAM breaks ground on key south Dublin link road set to boost connectivity and sustainable travel

BAM has commenced construction on the M50 Junction 14 Link Road scheme in the Sandyford and Leopardstown Road area, one of Dublin’s busiest employment and residential areas in Ireland.  The vital infrastructure project to the south of the city will ease congestion, unlock network capacity and accelerate the shift toward sustainable transport.

The scheme, developed by Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, will include a new link road, a new signalised junction, dedicated active travel facilities to support safe walking and cycling and an enhanced pedestrian and cyclist crossing.

BAM will work closely with Clifton Scannell Emerson Associates, whose design integrates modern active travel principles while enhancing safety and future-proofing the local transport network.
