Hemel Hempstead, 28 October 2021 - INOVYN ChlorVinyls (part of the INEOS Group), the European-wide chemical manufacturing giant, has completed the move of its staff into a newly completed office building in Runcorn.
INOVYN’s products are used in some of the most demanding applications and are fundamental raw materials for industry sectors as diverse as automotive, construction, paints, food, medical and water treatment.
The four-storey building could eventually accommodate up to 450 employees.
Built by Salford-based BAM Construction, the open-plan office building will be a major improvement in the working environment for INOVYN employees.
BAM’s Project Manager David Oldfield said: ‘It is brilliant to have worked with one of the region’s most important companies and employers and to have delivered a building so versatile with great safety credentials.’
The new office complex is now complete and already housing INOVYN employees. It is adapted with blast enhancement engineering, because of the complex nature of INOVYN’s work and processes.
The building features a single storey atrium with meeting rooms a cafeteria and two -storey ancillary building complete with a gym.
BAM is also behind the UK’s largest entertainment arena, Co-Op Live in Manchester now under construction, and new acute facilities at Salford Royal Hospital, while it also created a recent suite of schools and academies in South Manchester. In the industrial sector it has also recently built for Unilever in Port Sunlight, giving it an impressive and wide-ranging portfolio across public and private sectors.
