Hemel Hempstead, 2 March 2016 - BAM Construct UK has appointed Louise Williamson as Managing Director of its facilities management business BAM FM. Louise joins BAM from Cofely where she was Key Accounts and Operations Director responsible for £350 million worth of contracts. Her previous experience includes being a Sector Director of Balfour Beatty Workplace, and roles in Birse Group: as MD of New Start Ventures and as Group Director Risk Management.
She started her professional career as a civil engineer and led many site projects before starting to specialise in facilities management.
Graham Cash, Chief Executive of BAM Construct UK, says: ‘Louise brings a keen understanding of how an FM business can offer maximum value to clients in an integrated way with a construction business. She has extensive experience of integrated hard and soft FM services and developing client relationships that will be very valuable in leading BAM FM in its next stage of development.’
Louise says: ’I can’t wait to start working with everyone in BAM FM to continue developing and growing its FM business. For me, the success of an FM business is grounded in great customer service and that in turn starts with top class staff engagement. I see huge potential to differentiate BAM’s FM business through further innovation in digital asset management and that will come from involving everyone and working collaboratively with BAM’s construction and property development businesses.’
Louise Williamson started her new role on 1 March 2016.
