BAM wins contract for 110 metre high office tower in Frankfurt

Bunnik, the Netherlands, 7 May 2015 - BAM Deutschland AG (the German operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, specialising in general building projects) has acquired a contract for the construction of the 110 metre high office tower WINX in Frankfurt am Main. BAM Deutschland will complete the office turnkey for its client, project developer DIC Group, in the autumn of 2017.

The Riverside Tower WINX (63,600 m2) has been designed by architects KSP Jürgen Engel Architekten at Frankfurt am Main. The office tower has thirty floors and one portal building with a gateway in the middle. This portal contains seven above-ground floors. WINX is a landmark right by the river Main, in the centre of Frankfurt’s banking district. The ground floor and part of the first floor will be a restaurant. The entire building complex includes three underground floors, which offer space for technical rooms, a TV studio, server rooms and more than 175 parking spaces and spaces for bicycles. Visitors can enjoy a unique panoramic view over Frankfurt from the sky lounge.

During construction BAM Deutschland will pay special attention to the use of sustainable energy concepts (DGNB Gold).
