Bunnik, the Netherlands, 31 July 2013 – BAM Deutschland – the German building company of Royal BAM Group nv – has been awarded the contract for the turnkey completion of a specialised court centre in Hannover’s city centre. BAM Deutschland will be also responsible for the hard maintenance facilities during a thirty year period. The court centre will offer 400 employees a total of 21,300 m² GFA. Construction will start at site in September 2013. Completion is due for Mid 2015. The project value amounts to € 30 million.
The project is situated to the east of the Central Station will bring all five of the specialised courts currently based in Hannover together under one roof.
The new court building will be linked to the existing County Court building by means of a connecting bridge. The rhythm of the classical brick façade of the County Court’s perimeter block construction will be repeated through the use of large upright windows in the new building. The project is designed by HPP Hentrich-Petschnigg & Partner architects at Düsseldorf.
