Interbeton wins another contract at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi
Bunnik, The Netherlands, 18 December 2008 - Interbeton bv - the operating company of Royal BAM Group nv, active outside Europe - has received the letter of intent for the construction of the concrete frame and associated works for a 525 key Mövenpick Hotel and the Welcome Pavilion for Ferrari World and the Shopping Mall, on Yas Island Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates. The project is the second project secured on the Yas Island development following the award of the Crowne Plaza Hotel and Staybridge Serviced Apartments in January 2008.
The Mövenpick Hotel and Welcome Pavilion will be built by Interbeton Abu Dhabi, the local subsidiary of Interbeton.
Yas Island is one of ALDAR's major developments, occupying 2,500 hectares and will feature aFormula One race track, water and theme parks, retail developments, links and parkland golf courses, marinas, residential development and signature hotels.
