Longmont, Colorado, October 12, 2005 – Flatiron Constructors earned Colorado Construction magazine’s Bronze Hard Hat award in the Heavy/Highway category for a series of improvements along Denver’s E-470 Toll Road.
Flatiron’s construction of five complex bridge structures at three locations along the southern portion of E-470 was recognized as one of the best Heavy/Highway projects in Colorado. The winning project included widening the E-470 bridges over Jordan Rd. and Happy Canyon Creek and construction of a new Chambers Rd. bridge over E-470.
Flatiron accepted the award Friday, October 7 during the awards breakfast at Lakewood Country Club.
