Cheshire Police Headquarters PFI Project delivered on time and budget by HBG
Clearly demonstrating the quality and efficiency of the PFI [Public Finance Initiative] approach to delivering new law and order facilities in the UK, HBG has successfully completed and handed over to the Cheshire Police Authority, on time and to budget, the magnificent complex of buildings that make up their new Constabulary Headquarters and Training Centre at Winsford, Cheshire.
The £32 million (capital build value) project is a 30-year Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Maintain scheme. The PFI consortium is led by HBG Projects whilst HBG Construction have created the buildings and, HBG Facilities Management is providing catering, cleaning and waste management, security and the building and grounds maintenance. Other members of the team include architects Percy Thomas Partnership, Leach Rhodes & Walker and Gilling Dodd, quantity surveyor Turner & Townsend and engineer URS Thorburn Colquhoun.
