Court upholds injunction against Ballast HAM Dredging joint venture
Rijswijk – The Enterprise Section of the Appeal Court in Amsterdam today rejected the application by HBG, Hollandsche Beton Groep nv, and Ballast Nedam nv for the lifting of the temporary injunction preventing the implementation of the merger agreement creating Ballast HAM Dredging bv.
The Court bases its decision partly on the grounds that more detailed investigation is called for because insufficient facts are known about the case to arrive at a proper judgment.
HBG is greatly surprised by the Court’s decision and is now contemplating further legal action with the minimum delay.
