Rijswijk/Inverness – Edmund Nuttall Ltd – the HBG, Hollandsche Beton Groep nv, group company active in the UK civil engineering market – is due to start work later this year on the construction of a pipeline crossing the northern end of Loch Ness, Scotland.
The work is part of a huge water quality improvement programme being undertaken by Nuttall in partnership with the North of Scotland Water Authority. The contract is valued at around €98 million.
The Loch Ness project is part of the Water Quality Undertakings Programme [West Area], which includes the Central Highlands and the Western Isles. The initial agreement is for three years, with a possible extension to six years.
