Making the construction sector more sustainable thanks to GROENR

BAM is launching GROENR, an initiative that promotes sustainability in the Dutch construction sector through the new sustainable concrete concept GROENR CONCRETE. 

This concrete, now available at concrete supplier Albeton under the name Reduxx, contains less cement and results in a 15 to 20 percent reduction in CO2 emissions compared to traditional mixes. BAM encourages collaboration among concrete suppliers and has already successfully applied the concrete concept in various construction projects. 

The announcement took place at the Concrete Event, where the Concrete Association and Albeton embraced the initiative, aiming for industry-wide collaboration for a more sustainable construction sector.
