Work on incinerator
Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau has won a contract to build a waste bunker for a new waste-to-energy plant in Magdeburg. The contract value is over €12 million.
W&F Ingenieurbau is using sliding forms for the construction. The heat from the incineration furnaces will be used for generating electricity. Hot water for district heating mains will also be produced. The installation will be completed in 2005.
