Two contracts for Royal BAM Group in USA
FCI Constructors [a subsidiary of HBG Constructors] was awarded two contracts in the state of California, USA, with a combined value of approximately $45 million. These projects include the reconstruction and reconfiguration of interchanges in Mountain View, Santa Clara, and a highway improvement project in San Diego County.
Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority awarded the joint venture FCI Constructors/Pavex a 52 million-dollar contract [of which 62 per cent for FCI Constructors] to construct five bridge structures, widen one existing bridge and demolish two old bridges. The project will take approximately 32 months to complete.
The California Department of Transportation awarded FCI Constructors a 13.6 million-dollar project, including freeway widening, ramp improvements and additional road work between Interstates I-15 and I-5 in San Diego County, California. Construction will begin in early January 2003 and will last approximately 16 months.
