Dublin, 18 June 2014 – (Press release Grangegorman Development Agency:) The GDA is delighted to announce that BAM Building Ltd have been selected as the successful tenderer for the first new Dublin Institute of Technology building to be constructed on the Grangegorman site.
The Greenway Hub will be home to the Environmental Health Sciences Institute, a national research platform dedicated to research focusing on the interface between the environment and health. It is based on collaboration between DIT, Dublin City Council, and the Health Service Executive.
The new building will also be home to incubation spaces for new start up companies. This is thanks to the involvement of Enterprise Ireland.
The contractor is due to move onsite in the coming weeks and it is envisaged that this contract will take approximately 18 months to complete.
Another announcement on the successful contractor for the replacement bus parking facility will be made in the coming weeks.
