New appointment for BAM Construction
Stepps, 1 February 2015 - Patricia (Trish) Murphy has joined BAM Construction’s Scottish business in a newly created Senior Buyer role.
After starting off as an office junior with a major house builder Patricia Murphy has accumulated over 30 years of buying and procurement experience including a senior buying role with another national contractor and was, until recently, the procurement manager for a respected Scottish SME contractor.
Her new role within BAM reflects the success of its Scottish regional business and BAM’s procurement policy of creating a strong supply chain of local Scottish businesses who currently undertake over 70 percent of BAM’s entire workload in Scotland. Patricia Murphy will be working closely with the Regional Buyer, Helen Fitzpatrick, to manage the existing supply chain partnerships and develop new relationships with local firms and manufacturers in all of our geographical areas.

Trish’s experience and industry knowledge will be a great asset to our team and help us continue to lead the market on innovative and sustainable procurement initiatives.’
