Berkeley Homes, Acton
HBG Construction is to design, build and fit-out a 10.3 million-euro office development at Acton in West London for Berkeley Homes.
The three-storey building 3,700 m2 floor area will accommodate a Jobcentreplus on the ground floor with office accommodation on upper floors. The Department for Work and Pensions [Trillium] will move into the new premises, vacating an adjacent site which Berkeley Homes will convert into residential use.
Detailed design for the project was carried out by HBG Design, who value engineered the original design concept to suit the space planning requirements of Trillium. As well as the design and build of the office, HBG will also provide a 60-space car park. Work is scheduled for completion in January 2004.
