BAM appoints Group Sustainability Director
Bunnik, the Netherlands, 3 October 2016 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed Nitesh Magdani as Sustainability Director for the Group with effect from 1 October 2016. Nitesh Magdani (41) has been Director of Sustainability with BAM Construct UK since 2013.
Before Nitesh Magdani was appointed as Director of Sustainability at BAM Construct UK, he was BAM’s Head of Sustainable Design. Mr Magdani joined BAM Construct UK in 2011 having worked as lead architect on many sustainability led projects. During his time at BAM Construct UK, Mr Magdani has assisted project teams to exceed client sustainability aspirations, while also reinforcing the company’s approach on key topics, such as the circular economy.
In his new position, Nitesh Magdani will lead BAM’s Sustainability team, within the Strategy department. The team is responsible for coordinating and continuing to develop the Group’s sustainability expertise in every aspect of designing, constructing, managing and maintaining projects for BAM’s clients. A key focus will be to align with BAM’s ‘Building the present, creating the future’ 2020 strategy.
