Composition Supervisory Board

Bunnik, the Netherlands - Royal BAM Group nv today announces that Henk Rottinghuis will step down as Chair and member of the Supervisory Board with effect from 31 December 2026. The Supervisory Board is pleased to confirm that Bob Elfring, currently Vice‑Chair of the Supervisory Board, will succeed Henk Rottinghuis as Chair with effect from 1 January 2027. Bob Elfring has been a member of the Supervisory Board since August 2020. In addition, Denise Koopmans will step down from the Supervisory Board at the Annual General Meeting in 2027, ahead of schedule. She was appointed in 2020 and reappointed in 2024.

This transition follows a period of careful Supervisory Board succession planning and is designed to ensure continuity of leadership, stability and momentum as BAM continues to deliver on its strategic priorities. In addition, the Supervisory Board has considered the timing of future Supervisory Board retirements and believes that this orderly transition will provide a solid basis for continuity and effective governance as future Supervisory Board rotations are phased over time.

Henk Rottinghuis, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said:
‘With the terms of several members due to expire at the same time in 2028, this is the right moment to adjust the rotation schedule and support continuity and an orderly succession across the Supervisory Board.’

Bob Elfring, Vice‑Chairman of the Supervisory Board, said:
'I am honoured to be designated as the next Chairman of the Supervisory Board. I look forward to working with the Supervisory Board and Management to support BAM’s long‑term strategy and sustainable success.'
