Birgit Biemans appointed Director Strategy and Commercial at BAM Nederland

BAM Nederland has appointed Birgit Biemans as Director Strategy and Commercial with effect from 1 June 2026. In this role, she will be responsible for the further development and execution of the strategy of BAM Nederland.

Over the past years, Birgit Biemans worked at McKinsey & Company as an Associate Partner within the Capital Excellence practice, where she supported organisations in the industrial and infrastructure sectors in delivering complex construction and maintenance projects. Previously, she held operational roles at Maersk Oil in the oil and gas industry. Birgit obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
