15 September 2023 - Integrated Facilities Management provider, BAM FM, has been appointed to provide facilities management services for three academic establishments: Wallyford Learning Campus, University of Chester and Ormiston Academies Trust (OAT).
BAM FM has extensive experience within the education sector, supplying integrated facilities management for universities, schools, academies and learning centres nationwide.
As the finishing touches are made to the highly anticipated £47.2 million Wallyford Learning Campus, BAM FM has been selected to provide hard and soft facilities management across the estate for 12 years until 2035. Services include: janitorial, security, cleaning, maintenance, grounds keeping and room bookings.
BAM FM has also secured a three-year mechanical and electrical maintenance contract at the University of Chester. This award follows a competition, run by University of Chester’s Procurement Services team working in close collaboration with their Estates and Facilities colleagues, under Lot 2a of the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Facilities Management & Workplace Services RM6232 framework agreement. BAM FM’s site-based team will be provide reactive and planned preventative maintenance including HVAC, mechanical, electrical services as well as fabric, moveable walls automatic doors and barriers. Built on a foundation of the knowledge and experience that BAM FM has gained in the Education sector, this bespoke solution meets the specific needs and objectives of the University of Chester.

The third appointment will see BAM FM provide facilities management services across 16 sites for OAT. BAM FM is to commence a four-year contract across the North and West, providing hard, mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance. The scope of work includes statutory compliance testing and certification, planned, preventative and reactive maintenance and helpdesk CAFM interfacing with academy authorities.
