BAM wins office contracts in Berlin
Bunnik, the Netherlands, 21 November 2016 – BAM Deutschland, the German construction company of Royal BAM Group nv, has won two contracts for the construction of the East Side Office (phase2 and 3) which are part of the Postbahnhof project in Berlin. The client is NDC Real Estate Management GmbH. The total contract value is over €30 million. In 2015 BAM Deutschland won phase 1, which will be completed shortly. The phases 2 and 3 will be delivered in September 2018.
The project is situated near East Side Gallery – a section of the Berlin Wall with paintings by artists – and near Ostbahnhof Station. The offices have unobstructed views of the Spree River.
The offices have been designed by Thomas Müller - Ivan Reimann Architekten. BAM has commissioned the detailed design from WEP-Effingner Partner Architekten. The project includes the construction of underground parking and six to nine office floors with a total floor area of approximately 16,500 m2.
