Public-private partnerships (PPP) are increasingly used for the renovation and construction of building and infrastructure projects. This is driven by rapid developments in technology, governments with more complex objectives but with limited budgets, combined with the need to operate sustainably. PPP projects are usually completed within time and budget and with more quality than traditional projects. However, the operational phase in particular often proves more difficult than previously thought.
BAM takes a leading position for the realization of PPP projects in its European home markets, with more than forty PPP projects in its portfolio. BAM PPP leverages the strength, experience and expertise within the Group by a coordinating role in providing lifecycle solutions for clients in the public sector. The company focuses on the European home markets, where the Group has proven to be skilled and knowledgeable in the area of construction and maintenance. Operating from offices in Bunnik, Brussels, Birmingham, Dublin, Frankfurt am Main and Glasgow, BAM PPP is active in the road, rail, education, healthcare, judicial and general accommodation sectors and is well positioned to access most Western European markets.
