Hemel Hempstead, 8 October 2015 - Dougie Peters has been appointed Managing Director of BAM Properties Ltd based in Glasgow. He succeeds John Burke who retires after almost twenty-five years with the UK business.
A Graduate of the University of Edinburgh and a qualified CA, Dougie Peters trained with KPMG following which he held a number of positions within both commercial and residential property companies. In 2005 he joined BAM Properties as Finance Director.

BAM Properties is the property development arm of BAM Construct UK a major construction and property services company which also undertakes design, construction, facilities management and public private partnerships.
Current developments in Scotland include the CONNECT110NS office development on Queen Street and Atlantic Square, a £100 million mixed use development with Taylor Clark Properties, spanning 300,000 sq ft in Glasgow’s IFSD.
Completed BAM Properties developments include the Aurora building in Bothwell Street, the Riverside Transport Museum, Nike’s flagship store on Buchanan Street in Glasgow and refurbishment of the National Portrait Gallery and Tesco Bank’s headquarters at Haymarket, both in Edinburgh.
The business is part of Royal BAM Group, a European construction and property services enterprise that is listed on the Euronext Amsterdam.
