Royal BAM Group appoints Operational Audit director
Bunnik, the Netherlands, 1 November 2013 – The Executive Board of Royal BAM Group nv has appointed M. de Rooij, RC as Operational Audit director with effect from 1 November 2013.
Marco de Rooij (48), employed by the Group since 1989, has fulfilled several financial and management positions in the Netherlands and Germany.
Through this new operational audit position, BAM is improving its corporate governance. The Operational Audit director will ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the primary business processes, as well as of the compliance with policies and procedures in this regard and make suggestions for improvement. The Operational Audit director will report to the chairman of the Executive Board.
