The Hague, The Netherlands, 1 February 2012 – Tebodin has set up a new office in Nanjing, in Eastern China, 300 km from Shanghai. With this third office in China, the consultancy and engineering firm reinforces its presence in the country to support the further growth of Tebodin in China. The existing offices in Shanghai and Guangzhou grew significantly in 2011.
Tebodin (Nanjing) Engineering & Design Co., Ltd is the latest addition to the global Tebodin network consisting of approximately fifty offices active in twenty countries. It is the sixth office in Asia Pacific region besides Shanghai in China (2004), Chennai in India (2007), Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam (2009), Guangzhou in China (2010), and Jakarta in Indonesia (2011). Since Tebodin’s establishment in 2004 in China, the firm has seen a rapid growth in Asia. The six offices totally employ over 450 people. The Nanjing office will be headed by Office Director Mr Jianqing Qin. He has worked in the Shanghai office as Deputy General Manager.
Tebodin is already working on projects for multinational clients Kemira, Taminco and Oxea in the Nanjing chemical park. This is one of the largest Chemical Industry Parks in China with over 100 plants. Tebodin chooses to be near the client and thereby offer added value. The Nanjing office will build a regional client portfolio and deliver locally and internationally operating clients a broad scope of consultancy and engineering services.
