Tebodin realizes first BREEAM certificate for FUTURA Park in Poland

BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method) is an international environmental assessment method and rating system for buildings. According to the BREEAM standards FUTURA Park has achieved a score of 55.63 percent and a ‘very good’ rating.

The certification process was carried out by Tebodin Poland as part of their project management service. The certification process has been realized in cooperation with BAM Design Ltd, UK, concerning the design stage of the shopping center. BREEAM runs throughout the whole construction process. After the construction phase has been realized, FUTURA Park Kraków will be a commercial park with a area of around 44,000 m2, combining a retail park (22,000 m2) with a factory outlet center (22,000 m2).

Tebodin has a growing number of certified BREEAM and LEED consultants in numerous offices. LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the US equivalent of BREEAM.

The client desired the BREEAM certificate to confirm the quality and ecology of the FUTURA Park Kraków building.
