The Hague, The Netherlands, 19 April 2010 - Tebodin Consultants & Engineers - operating company of Royal BAM Group nv - and the Libyan company P.C.C. (Petroleum & Chemicals Consultancy) have signed a joint venture agreement to set up a consultancy and engineering company named Tebodin, Design & Engineering Technology, Libya in Tripoli, the capital city of Libya. The joint venture is based on 60 percent shares for Tebodin B.V. and 40 percent shares for P.C.C. With the establishment of Tebodin Libya, Tebodin enters the African continent.
Tebodin Libya will primarily focus on the local oil and gas market and water sector. Since the opening Tebodin sees good business opportunities in the Libyan market because many regular clients are actively developing activities in that country.
Petroleum and Chemicals Consultancy (P.C.C.) introduced its services in 1988 in the fields of quality and quantity inspection and chemicals and petroleum consultancy for the oil and gas sector in Libya. In 2000 P.C.C. expanded its services to include environmental services and supplying of qualified engineers and specialists in the fields of seismic, drilling, production, and general industrial projects. Besides the head office in Tripoli, P.C.C. has also branch offices at Ras Lanuf, Misurata and Zawia where services in oil fields, refineries and petrochemical plants are covered.
