Cycling on the dike
The Netherlands is the land of dikes and cyclists. Cyclists usually have access to dedicated cycle paths, but there is no room for such paths on this narrow dike. However, their needs have been catered for in the form of bicycle lanes in a different colour.
BAM Wegen uses a special machine to lay the two colours of asphalt in one pass, which helps to ensure a quality finish. It will make cycling on this dike much easier this summer!
