New business unit BAM Gebouwbeheer concludes framework contract with TNT Real Estate

Bunnik, Netherlands, 21 June 2007 – BAM Utiliteitsbouw bv and BAM Techniek bv have together set up a new business unit: BAM Gebouwbeheer bv. BAM Gebouwbeheer offers clients who operate nationwide optimum service for the structural and M&E management of their buildings.

TNT Real Estate has awarded BAM Gebouwbeheer a framework contract for the maintenance of the entire property portfolio, which comprises everything from office locations and post offices to distribution buildings and storage spaces. TNT Real Estate owns some 300 properties, which accommodate the primary processes of TNT's operating companies. TNT Real Estate also manages TNT's entire property portfolio, which includes approximately 1,200 properties in the Netherlands.

BAM Gebouwbeheer brings together knowledge and experience found across the board within Royal BAM Group that for years have contributed to the company's success at a regional level. This means that BAM is offering clients with nationwide offices a single point of contact for integrated services for their buildings. BAM Gebouwbeheer coordinates the projects, supported by the regional maintenance departments of BAM Techniek (mechanical and electrical maintenance) and BAM Utiliteitsbouw (structural maintenance). BAM Gebouwbeheer is located in Bunnik, Netherlands.

Mr S.J.J. (Stijn) Daniëls (35), who was responsible for the Strategic sourcing department of Royal BAM Group, has been appointed to manage BAM Gebouwbeheer.

Management and maintenance are important focal points within new contract forms, and the civil engineering sector is no exception. For this reason, BAM's four Dutch civil companies (BAM Civiel, BAM Infratechniek, BAM Rail and BAM Wegen) already combined their services in 2006 within the business unit BAM Infrabeheer, which is located in Utrecht, Netherlands.
