First Morrissons superstore in Scotland
HBG Construction completed the first Wm Morrissons superstore in Scotland. Wm Morrissons Supermarkets plc is a major retailer in the North of England and the new superstore in Kilmarnock, East Ayrshire, represents the company’s first move north of the border.
With building starting last May, HBG Construction has delivered a single storey superstore with two-storey staff facilities and plant rooms, a petrol filling station and considerable car parking and landscaping. This latest supermarket client joins others in the already substantial retail portfolio of HBG Construction in Scotland, including ASDA and Safeway. Morrissons is currently in the process of acquiring part or all of the Safeway stores group.
