The construction activities for the new Cork Airport Terminal Building and all other facilities (like a new 633 space, five-storey car park with a covered connection to the Terminal Building) are close to their peak, witnessed by more than two million passengers who arrive to or leave this airport annually.
BAM’s Irish operating company Rohcon has made good progress. Works have gone well to date and the site has maintained a good safety record. The construction of the new entrance dual carriageway is almost finished now and the reinforced structure for the Terminal Building is well advanced. The next milestone is the roof and glazing, which will commence at the turn of the year. Cork Airport is one of Ireland’s largest building projects at the moment.
