Paradise improved
A palm tree is all that’s missing from this picture of the island of Grenada. BHD, Royal BAM’s dredging company, has been busy in this Caribbean paradise, creating a basin for a future cruise ship berth.
BHD has also been active this summer in other parts of the Caribbean. In the Dominican Republic, two million cubic metres of coral and sand have been dredged for a new container terminal. The material was used in the construction of a harbour mole and land reclamation for industrial use. A cutter suction dredger was employed on both projects.
