Knightdale Bypass
North Carolina Constructors (NCC) – a joint venture of HBG Flatiron (Royal BAM Group) and the Lane Construction Corporation - was awarded a design-build-contract for the construction of 11 miles of six-lane freeway and 23 bridge structures near Raleigh, North Carolina, USA.
With all the designs completed for the new bypass NCC is preparing to move into its peak phase of construction. Now crews are busy at all 12 bridge sites, with already some bridges completed.
The 131 million US dollar-project will be completed in late 2004.
