Up to the end of May, HBG Schakel & Schrale will be working on Lange Voorhout Palace in The Hague. The restoration specialists are responsible for the placing of new wooden shutters in the back. These are part of a new climate-control system.
Ever since Schakel & Schrale carried out major alterations on Queen Juliana’s former working palace in 1991, turning it into an annex of The Hague’s Gemeentemuseum, the company has regularly been carrying out maintenance work on the building. The present project, including installations, is worth €350,000.
