HBG Ascon has been awarded the contract for the construction of the last phase of the C-Ring Motorway around Dublin, named the South Eastern Motorway. The 127 million-euro project connects to the seven kilometre long Southern Cross section of the C-Ring that Ascon handed over earlier this year.
The new section, south of the Irish capital, involves the construction of 9,25 kilometres of twin-lane motorway. The project also includes the construction of all purpose dual carriageway, interchange parallel link roads, four interchanges, the construction of 19 bridges and the upgrading of a local road network. The project will be completed mid 2005.
