Further framework agreement to Nuttall in Scotland
Ritchies, the specialist geotechnical division of Edmund Nuttall Ltd, has been awarded a new framework agreement by Railtrack in Scotland for slope stabilisation works throughout the Scottish Zone.
The first projects to be undertaken are rock cuttings at Slochd Summit close to the A9 motorway and at Beattock Summit. The projects have a combined value of £450,000 and involve rock scaling, anchors and wire mesh installation works over an 8 week programme period.
The award of these contracts builds on a history of successful work for Railtrack by Ritchies since 1996 and is in addition to the Structures Framework Agreement currently being completed by Nuttall’s Scottish Division.
The contract extends the national relationship developed between Railtrack and Nuttall culminating in the recent extension to the Extended Arm maintenance programme in the North West zone.
