Tebodin acquires controlling interest in Czech engineering firm Sindat

The Hague, 9 May 2003 - Tebodin Czech Republic has acquired 51% of the shares of the Czech engineering firm Sindat Engineering S.R.O. The two parties recently signed the contract in Prague.

Sindat Engineering, part of the Sindat Group, has 27 staff in two offices, in Prague and Pardubice. Tebodin Czech Republic operates with a staff of 125 from an office in Prague. The combined turnover amounts to €6 million annually.

The merger gives Tebodin Czech Republic specialist expertise, particularly in the field of process engineering. Tebodin also gains access through the acquisition to a large number of clients in the energy market and also in the chemicals and pharmaceuticals sector. With this move Tebodin aims to become the largest engineering consultancy in the Czech Republic in due course, possessing expertise in the fields of design, engineering and project management.
